he reality of the fitness business is that we are only valuable if we can stay healthy and teach classes everyday and workout with our personal training clients. At one point in my career, I was earning a very good income, but the only way I could maintain that income was by training 50 - 60 hours per week. Most fitness professionals don't have a back up plan and a back up plan is the only way you are going to be able to support yourself and your family long term. Eventually our bodies are going to tell us to slow down.
